From today, we are offering LoginSign as a login option.

LoginSign is a site project that began in 2023. Today, we are expanding this tool into Bookmarker. The idea is to make logging into other pages as simple as possible for users while maintaining privacy. When you log in with LoginSign, we do not have access to your real email address; instead, we generate an alias address to protect your identity. With a unique user ID, we can link your LoginSign ID to multiple services, allowing you to search your bookmarks, for example, through Shortkey.org.

Due to these privacy features, it is not possible for us to migrate your existing Bookmarker account to LoginSign.

This is the most significant update to the Bookmarker since first launch. The frontend remains largely unchanged, with only minor updates being integrated, such as the adaptation of text colour for the pin board. There are no significant updates to the UI.

The new major update is to the backend, which is being updated in its entirety to align with the forthcoming browser extension. You will note significant updates to the performance, with the search engine working much faster, opening folders and with overall performance significantly faster.

We're excited to introduce a new feature to Bookmarker.me that adds a touch of customization to your folder navigation experience. Now, you can adjust the opacity of your folder navigation, allowing for a more transparent look. This means you have the flexibility to keep your background image prominently visible or tone it down as you prefer.

Folder Navigation Opacity Adjustment
